Field Service Technician

About the role
ACCO Brands/GBC is seeking a Field Service Technician to service the Boston, Massachusetts area. In this role, you will perform field service, repair, and maintenance of roll laminators, business card cutters, ream paper cutters, punch machines, and other print finishing equipment.
Responsibilities
- Provide outstanding service to our clients and promote business.
- Perform break/fix service calls in an assigned area.
- Service, install, diagnose, and repair binding, laminating, cutting, folding, stitching, and other document handling equipment.
- Manage your own daily schedule to meet customer expectations.
- Maintain your spare parts inventory and manage your calls and parts on the company laptop.
- Provide operator training to customers on machine operations and job setup.
Requirements
- Associate's degree, trade certifications, or equivalent field experience required.
- Valid Driver’s License with a clean driving record required.
- Electro-mechanical experience using a multi-meter to troubleshoot circuits and reading schematics to troubleshoot machines preferred.
- Experience with Microsoft Office and comfortable using computers.
- Superior time management skills and reliability.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and diagnostic experience.
- Excellent customer service and communications skills.
- Comfortability with being self-motivated.

Pay
$26.00 - $29.00/hour
