Field Service Technician 1

Responsibilities

• Service, upgrade, and perform preventative maintenance on various types of equipment such as coin & currency equipment, ATMs, software, and specialized office products located at client sites in Toledo and surrounding areas.
• Work in coordination with branch sales and other service team members to satisfy client needs.
• Address customer service requests within the specified contract response time.
• Perform extended hours coverage periods and 'On-Call' duty where applicable.
• Safeguard and maintain a balanced vehicle stock parts inventory.
• Upkeep and cleanliness of company issued vehicle including scheduled service intervals.
• Safeguarding of any company issued assets including tablet computers and mobile phones.
• All other duties as required.

Qualifications

• Impeccable Integrity
• 1+ years of working as a technician/field service/mechanical role or similar profession
• Must be able to gain access to highly secured environments; occupational licenses may be necessary to obtain depending on territory/accounts
• Strong electromechanical aptitude is a plus but not a must
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including a positive, customer-first attitude
• Personable, approachable, and able to work easily with others at all levels
• Strong attention to details - able to proof and prioritize work
• Proficient in iOS, MS Office applications, and Windows OS
• Able to set and track goals independently, initiate and follow through on assignments without coaching, and work proactively as a team player
• Able to commit to and meet project deadlines

Physical Requirements

• Available for periodic travel to corporate office for training classes
• Able to lift, push, or carry a minimum of 50 pounds such as large money counting machines and parts in and out of client sites
• Kneeling, bending, twisting, lifting, and squatting to service equipment on the ground up to 60% of the time
• Hand and wrist dexterity needed to turn screwdrivers and place parts and equipment
• Phone or desk work about 10% of the time doing computer work, bench repair work, parts stocking, tracking service calls, and setting up appointments
• Standing for long periods up to 75% of the time while servicing some equipment
