About the role

The Service Mechanic functions as part of the Service Team and is responsible for the care of various types of customer and company-owned equipment.

  • Troubleshoot and repair a variety of equipment at various customer locations to bring each unit back to operational and safety standards.
  • Effectively communicate with all involved parties, including Salespeople, Coordinators, Managers, and Customers, about possible downtime and job progress updates.
  • Operate in a safe, efficient manner with minimal supervision to decrease equipment downtime while maintaining safe working standards both on-site and during the operation of company vehicles.

Responsibilities

  • Work in operating facilities and outdoors, traveling to customer locations.
  • Encounter varying weather conditions and temperatures.
  • Frequently work on equipment with potential hazards where appropriate safety equipment and practices are required.
  • Lift 50 pounds regularly; occasionally lift items weighing up to 100 pounds.
  • Push/pull up to 100 pounds.
  • Perform tasks requiring standing, walking, twisting, climbing, crawling, bending, stooping, kneeling, or squatting.
  • Handle/finger tools and equipment on a daily basis.
  • Drive a van/truck to and from customer locations.
  • Wear safety glasses and safety shoes.

This position is deemed a Safety Sensitive job under the Arkansas Medical Marijuana Amendment, the Oklahoma Medical Marijuana and Patient Protection Act, and the Louisiana Therapeutic Marijuana Act.

Requirements

  • Minimum 1 year of mechanical training/education, and/or experience in a related field.
  • Possess or ability to obtain a complete line of tools, including specialized tools needed to complete the job at the customer site.
  • Minimum 21 years of age.
  • Clean driving record.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
