Field Service Supervisor
About the role
The Field Service Supervisor is a leadership role responsible for overseeing the operations, safety, profitability, and staff development within our Industrial Services division in Milwaukee.
Responsibilities
- Ensure successful completion of customer equipment services, tank cleaning, fluid filtration, and internal tank cleaning and service needs.
- Work closely with safety coordinators to ensure adherence to company safety policies, OSHA standards, and environmental regulations.
- Manage project timelines, assist with budgets, oversee equipment uses, and ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements.
- Plan and direct the daily work for field technicians.
- Serve as a primary point of contact for key customers, preparing technical proposals with sales and support teams, addressing concerns, and ensuring customer requirements and satisfaction are met.
- Oversee and uphold operation budgets, monitor project costs, and initiate cost control programs to ensure projects remain within budget and meet profitability goals.
- Continuously improve and develop standards for the service department, streamlining processes to maximize efficiency and productivity.
- Coordinate procedures for facility and equipment maintenance, including procurement and managing inventory levels to meet operational demands.
- Prepare reports for management, clients, and regulatory agencies regarding operations, project status, safety metrics, and financial performance.
Requirements
Experience and/or Training:
- 1+ years of industry experience or other relevant experience helpful.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Managing a team of up to 20 people.
- Strict attention to detail.
- Able to collaborate without issue within sales and operating systems.
- Excellent listening, reporting, and presentation skills.
- Cross-functional verbal and written communication skills; both internally and externally.
- Able to communicate, present, and influence credibly and effectively at all levels of the customer’s organization, including executive, engineering, and C-level.
Qualifications
License/Certification:
- Valid driver’s license.
