Field Service Specialist - Ion Chromatography

What You’ll Do

  • Perform installations, repairs, calibrations, certifications, preventive maintenance, and refresher training for benchtop IC systems.
  • Support customers both on-site and remotely (via phone, email, Teams).
  • Partner with Process Analytics teams to support IC instruments in advanced process systems.
  • Manage a dynamic schedule across a multi-state territory.
  • Build strong customer relationships through expert service and communication.
  • Collaborate with Sales, Customer Support, and Product teams to deliver a seamless customer experience.

Territory

This role covers Ohio, Kentucky, western West Virginia, and the southern part of Indiana, with periodic travel to other U.S. regions as needed. The territory includes a mix of urban and rural markets, offering opportunities to engage with a diverse customer base. Candidates should be comfortable managing travel across multiple states and adapting to varying client needs and environments.

What You Bring

  • A BS/BA in Chemistry or a closely related scientific discipline.
  • 2–4 years of hands-on experience repairing ion chromatography or related laboratory instrumentation.
  • Excellent troubleshooting and communication skills.
  • Strong time management and the ability to work independently.
  • Willingness to travel extensively throughout the territory and occasionally outside the region.

Bonus Points For

  • Previous experience traveling for field service work.
  • Familiarity with process-based IC applications.
