Field Service Representative - water treatment chemicals

About the role

Veolia Group is seeking an experienced Field Service Representative (FSR) in its Chemical Solutions and Monitoring (CSM) division. The FSR will deliver exceptional on-site technical service as the primary technical liaison between Veolia and industrial customers.

Responsibilities

• Technical Service & Installation: Install, commission, and service chemical feed equipment, pumps, controllers, and instrumentation systems at customer locations
• Water Testing and Analysis: Obtain samples and perform water testing to include pH, conductivity, hardness, silica, PTSA, etc and enter data into Veolia’s trending platform (Insight)
• Customer Consultation: Act as technical consultant providing expert recommendations, training, and solutions to customer management and technical teams
• System Optimization & Troubleshooting: Perform water analysis, calibrate equipment, program controllers, conduct preventative maintenance, and diagnose/resolve system issues through remote support technologies and on-site interventions
• Documentation & Compliance: Maintain detailed service reports, inventory management, and ensure all safety protocols are followed
• Territory Management: Support multiple customer sites within assigned territory, coordinating with sales teams for optimal service delivery

Qualifications

• Technical degree/diploma in Electrical, Electronic Technology, Instrumentation, Mechanical Engineering, or related discipline preferred, a high school diploma or GED is required
• 2-5 years of experience in instrumentation & electronics, plant operations/maintenance, or equivalent technical training
• Familiarity with water treatment processes and industrial equipment preferred
• A full valid driver's license and willingness to travel (a learner's permit or G1/G2 class will not qualify)
