Field Service Representative (VMP/ Press Brakes)

Cincinnati Incorporated is seeking a hands-on, mechanically inclined Field Service Representative to support customers across the U.S. by installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing advanced metal fabrication machinery. If you enjoy working directly with complex systems and being the go-to expert when things need to run right, this role puts you at the center of it all.

Responsibilities

• Complete machine service for customers
• Prepare and submit documentation for efficient invoicing
• Maintain company property for safe operation and maximum life
• Efficiently manage business expenses to maximize profitability
• Perform routine maintenance on equipment and assist in establishing preventative maintenance schedules with customers

Requirements

• Knowledge of electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic principles
• Strong diagnostics and technical aptitude
• Ability to work independently with little supervision
• Ability to travel overnight at least 75–90% of the time
• Superb communication skills with an emphasis on customer service
• Strong PC and organizational skills

Physical Demands and Work Environment

• Physical Demands: Very active; frequent standing, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling, and climbing ladders. Must be able to use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; must be able to lift a minimum of 50 lbs. frequently. Specific vision abilities include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
• Work Environment: Noise level can be loud occasionally. High-travel position with significant overnight travel required.

Qualifications

• Experience Required: 3 years in industrial maintenance (or related military experience), including troubleshooting
• Education Preferred: Technical/other training or better
