This position is located in Fort Leonard Wood, Missouri and supports the Joint Program Executive Office for Chemical and Biological Defense (JPEO-CBD) requirement for Contractor Logistics Support (CLS) services.
Responsibilities
- Supervise a small team performing Contract Logistics Support (CLS) operations.
- Supervise daily operation, maintenance, and supply support for the Joint Portal Shield System.
- Supervise and perform all required maintenance actions (Operator’s, Field Level maintenance, and Sustainment Level maintenance) to maintain the Joint Portal Shield.
- Supervise and operate the JPS in a contingency, expanded Threat Condition (THREATCON) Delta role when notified by the Government, typically during exercises, VIP visits, or events with increased threat readiness levels.
- Supervise and perform system modifications and upgrades to replace obsolete parts, including routine, urgent, and emergency Modification Work Orders (MWOs).
- Supervise and perform installation, testing, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of electronics equipment.
- Supervise repairs, parts stockage of LRUs, SRUs, and repair parts to support daily operations and preventive maintenance.
- Supervise and perform software upgrades and application of IA security patches.
- Supervise field testing and system or component upgrades resulting from Diminishing Manufacturing Sources and Material Shortages or obsolescence-driven redesigns.
- Supervise management of supplies, repair parts, work orders, training, and administrative records required to perform CLS operations for JPS force protection systems.
- Interface with the installation CBRNE response cell or Emergency Management and maintain customer relations to ensure smooth and efficient emergency response.
Requirements
- High School Degree or equivalent.
- Minimum 8 years’ experience.
- Prior experience maintaining US Military force protection systems; preferred experience with Joint Portal Shield Systems / Subsystems.
- Prior experience maintaining chemical/biological detection equipment.
- Experience supervising small teams performing CLS on CBRN Force protection systems.
- Experience performing diagnostic and repair of electronic systems, components, wiring harnesses, and Line Replaceable Units (LRUs).
- Experience using maintenance management software to record maintenance and supply transactions (Maximo preferred).
- Active Secret security clearance required.
Skills
- Fluent with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, and Excel).
Physical Demands / Work Environment
- Must be physically able to travel for extended periods of time.
- Must be able to lift heavy objects.
