About the role
Advanced Technology Systems Company is looking for an individual with experience in C-UAS systems or similar Intelligence Surveillance Reconnaissance (ISR) Field Service Representative (FSR) roles to support ATSC programs in multiple capacities while being trained to assume a greater role within ATSC programs. This person will work closely with Engineering, Production, Supply Chain, Technical Writing, and Program Management while reporting to the Training Manager.
Responsibilities
- Develop information necessary to publish Safety Manuals and Technical/User Manuals.
- Receive training as a Field Service Representative (FSR).
- Receive training in technical areas such as electrical systems, communications, radio, cameras, IT networking, vehicles, and mechanics.
- Work directly with C-UAS engineers to support the development, testing, and demonstration of C-UAS systems.
- Work directly with the Production team in assembling C-UAS systems.
- Assist Program Management as needed.
- Resolve product or service problems by determining the cause, selecting and explaining the best solution, and expediting correction or adjustment in a military field environment.
- Build sustainable relationships of trust through open and interactive communication.
- Identify and qualify new and emerging opportunities.
- Attend regular status meetings to effectively communicate relevant project information.
- Resolve and/or escalate issues in a timely fashion.
- Communicate difficult or sensitive information tactfully.
Requirements
- Associate degree in an applicable field of study.
- 2 years of military experience with a C-UAS program as either an Operator, FSR, or Instructor (Instructor or Trainer certifications preferred) may be substituted for the degree.
- Experience within DOD programs.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically PowerPoint and Word.
- Self-motivated individual who can work independently or as part of a team.
- Must maintain confidentiality and company loyalty.
- Able to interface with VIPs, personnel, international executives, and others.
- Able to multi-task and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
- Detail-oriented with strong follow-through and organizational skills.
- Good writing, technical, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Must be willing to travel and work overseas (approximately 50% travel).
- Must have Tower Climbing Certification or be able to obtain one within 60 days.
- Remote work is not authorized for this position.
Physical Demands & Work Environment
- Work is typically performed in an office or outdoor setting.
- Regularly required to stand, sit, demonstrate manual dexterity, climb stairs, talk, hear, and see.
- Must have the ability to lift 15-25 pounds.
- Must be able to read, write, and speak English.
- Overseas travel may be required.
