Field Service Representative
Job Description
As a Field Service Representative, you’ll be on the front lines providing operations and maintenance expertise on water treatment systems for one of our customers from one of a variety of industries. This mission critical role involves working on a variety of technologies including, media filtration, wastewater, softening, reverse osmosis (RO), ion exchange (IX), de-oxygenation, electro deionization, and ultrafiltration (UF).

- Operate, monitor, and optimize equipment performance
Duties & Responsibilities
- Carry out mechanical, electrical and controls troubleshooting on equipment such as valves, air compressors, ejectors, process pumps, blowers, and instrumentation
- Create and maintain site paperwork, and provide customers with detailed technical summaries of work performed
- Maintain inventory of spare parts and adequate supply of chemicals and replacement parts
- Monitor and maintain chemical injection systems
- Perform analytical testing such as: turbidity, hardness, chlorine, pH, CO2, O2,SDI, TOC, in addition to various other site-specific testing requirements
- Enter and complete work orders, purchase orders and PM Plans in Salesforce
- Daily timekeeping in Kronos
- Respond to system trouble calls and troubleshoot and restore system operation in a timely manner

- Basic computer skills (email, data entry, online training, EHS reporting)
Education & Experience
- Required:
o High School Diploma / GED / Home School Certification OR international equivalent
o 2+ years’ experience of service/maintenance (Electrical, chemical, and/or mechanical experience) or equivalent in an industrial environment
- Preferred:
o Bachelor or Associates Degree in Science/Engineering (STEM) or technical certificate in Instrumentation, electrical, mechanical
o 2 years of experience in Industrial, oil field, refineries, chemical or power generation plants
Additional Information
- Working Conditions
Must be able to perform work with appropriate PPE for work (safety toed shoes, safety glasses, bump cap/hard hat, etc.)
Time will be split between maintenance work and assembly work. Bending, kneeling, fine motor work, using various hand tools and PVC bonding materials (glue, primer).
Ability to operate power tools such as drills, grinders, and saws.
Some sitting and computer work is required.
Some unassisted lifting up to 50 lbs. is required – nearly all heavy parts movement assisted with cranes/hoists and pallet jacks.

Compensation - The salary range is tied to the market for similarly benchmarked roles. The range is not an absolute, but a guide, and offers will be based on the individual candidate’s knowledge, skills, experience, and market conditions, as well as internal peer equity. Depending upon all the preceding considerations for the final selected individual candidate, the offer may be lower or higher than the stated range: Hourly $22.00 - $34.00 USD
