Field Service Representative

About the role

Uniform Color is seeking a highly motivated individual to join our team as a Product Development Engineer. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in materials science and engineering, with experience in developing and testing new products.

Responsibilities

• Conduct research and development on new product formulations
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and test new products
• Develop and optimize manufacturing processes
• Perform quality control tests and ensure product compliance
• Stay current with industry trends and technological advancements

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Materials Science, Chemical Engineering, or related field
• Minimum 3 years of experience in product development or related field
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Experience with materials testing and analysis tools
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Qualifications

• Knowledge of polymer chemistry and rheology
• Experience with material characterization techniques
• Understanding of regulatory requirements and standards
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite

Skills

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Experience with statistical process control (SPC)
• Basic understanding of environmental sustainability practices

Pay

Salary range: $70,000 - $90,000 annually

Schedule

Full-time position, Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
