About the role
We are looking for a self-motivated, confident, and passionate Field Service Representative with experience in industrial automation and a drive to deliver solutions. The role involves delivering, installing, repairing, maintaining, and testing equipment within a designated service territory.
Responsibilities
- Perform general field service repair and maintenance activities to support Markem-Imaje customers and installed machine base.
- Resolve operational issues in the field through troubleshooting procedures.
- Identify customer needs and offer product or service recommendations.
- Contribute to business growth and sustainment through technical involvement, influence, and teamwork.
- Handle new equipment installations, customer training, emergency and routine repairs, contract sales, and maintenance.
- Develop and maintain technical and operational competency on Markem-Imaje products through training, hands-on use, and field exposure.
- Successfully complete product training courses and demonstrate competency as defined by management.
- Achieve and maintain customer satisfaction aligned with Markem-Imaje quality guidelines and objectives.
- Collaborate with sales teams to assist with machine demos, installations, technical training, courtesy calls, and follow-up activities.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering preferred.
- 3-5 years of mission-critical field service-related experience is a plus.
- Basic knowledge of electrical, electronic, pneumatic, hydraulic, and mechanical systems.
- Strong interpersonal and customer relationship management skills.
- Ability to share knowledge and conduct training for diverse audiences.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Effective time management skills to prioritize multiple activities and commitments.

Pay
$32.00 - $40.90 per hour. This position is bonus-eligible based on performance metrics and other criteria outlined in our applicable bonus plan.
