Field Service Mechanic (Full Time or Contract)

About the role

Bemas Construction is an all-purpose earthwork contractor focused on moving dirt to build developments and resources for our communities. As a Heavy Equipment Technician, you will support our operations by maximizing equipment uptime.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems for various heavy equipment models
• Order parts and perform component changes and rebuilds
• Partner with Operators and Foremen to understand and troubleshoot equipment needs
• Follow repair schedule while addressing unplanned issues, prioritizing to minimize job downtime
• Collaborate with production crews to manage and schedule repairs
• Follow safety protocols

Requirements

• 5 years heavy equipment repair experience OR trade-school certification in heavy equipment repair
• At least 18 years old
• Willing to participate in a pre-employment physical and drug screen
• Reliable means of transportation
