Job tasks As the Field Service Manager you will manage all aspects of the designated service region, including but not limited to, workforce selection, performance management, P&L monitoring, territory needs and opportunities, as well as customer relations. Territory: New York, Connecticut, Rhode Island, Massachusetts, Maine, New Hampshire, Vermont Monitor and manage the overall performance of the service zone, including revenue, expense management, and penetration into the install baseEnsure the achievement of all key and operational measures, especially in the areas of safety, development, customer satisfaction, operational improvements, revenue generation, and profitabilityDevelop and manage growth and profitability of the field service business by tracking financial performance to ensure profitabilityPartner with the Sales team to assist in securing capital equipment sales, new service opportunities, and to retain current business; presents the service offering to customers as requiredLead the hiring, training, and development of the field service teamDrive performance management, including performance reviews, coaching, and development opportunities to direct reportsDevelop and implement profitable service programs resulting in sales lead generation and excellent customer servicePromote seamless collaboration between Sales and Service teams to drive profitability and efficiency Your profile Associate’s degree or equivalent work experienceHands-on experience managing a field team of at least 10 mechanical techniciansAbility to creatively solve business problems through gathering and analyzing dataExcellent interpersonal and communication skillsProficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other basic computer literacyKnowledge of OSHA standards in a service environmentAcceptable driving recordAbility to travel extensively with little notice prior to travel (:20% overnight)Able to obtain a valid passport for occasional international travel Our offer As a full-time team member, you will be eligible for our excellent benefits package to include medical, dental, vision, 401(k) with a partial company match, paid time off and more!
