FIELD SERVICE ENVIRONMENTAL TECHNICIAN

About the role

The OpeningWe are currently seeking an Emergency Response Environmental Technician to be based out of our Olathe, KS office to assist with hazardous waste clean-up, site remediation, equipment decontamination, and handling of hazardous materials.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensures Health and Safety is the number one goal by following PROS - Pause, Review, Observe, Start
• Performs non-emergency and emergency response activities involving hazardous materials
• Performs labor intensive activities in all weather conditions throughout the shift
• Works in atmospheres with low clearances, confined spaces, and at heights
• Operates and works around light and heavy equipment including skid steers, forklifts, and pressure washers
• Maintains routine inspection and preventive maintenance on equipment
• Maintains an excellent driving history

Qualifications

• Pass a Pre-Employment drug screening, criminal background check, and physical exam
• Likely eligible to work in the United States (Verified through E-Verify)
• Willingness to obtain OSHA (40 hour) Certification
• Ability and willingness to work in a physically intensive role
• Ability to wear personal protective equipment, including respiratory protection
• Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
• Must have a clean driving record
