Field Service Enginerr

About the role

We are working with a growing industrial packaging and material handling solutions company that designs and delivers custom packaging systems and automation solutions to manufacturing customers.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform installation and commissioning of equipment at customer sites
• Conduct troubleshooting and diagnostics on mechanical and electrical systems
• Execute preventative maintenance and repairs on installed systems
• Support equipment startups and system optimization
• Provide onsite technical support and customer training
• Work closely with engineering and operations teams to resolve issues
• Read and interpret mechanical drawings, electrical schematics, and manuals
• Document service activities, reports, and recommendations
• Ensure all work is performed safely and meets quality standards

What They're Looking For

• Strong background in mechanical and/or electrical systems (ideally both)
• Experience working on packaging machinery, automation equipment, or food processing systems
• Hands-on experience with: Installation, Commissioning, Troubleshooting, Maintenance
• Able to work independently in customer-facing environments
• Strong problem-solving and diagnostic skills
• Comfortable with travel (~50%) within the region
• Good communication and customer interaction skills

Preferred Experience

• PLC exposure or basic troubleshooting (not required but a plus)
• Experience in manufacturing, packaging, or food production plants
• Background with capital equipment or industrial systems
