Responsibilities
- Remove chamber kits & fore lines
- Disconnect and cap all gas and liquid lines
- Perform complete tool shutdown
- Power off all system and related subcomponents
- Follow all LOTO and customer procedures
- Pre-task planning with customers
- Install caps/plugs, shipping fixtures, and casters
- Disassemble the tool for removal from the fab
- Document all deinstall activities (2D - Deinstall checklist)
- Report status of the deinstall project
- Follow all customer safety protocols including LOTO and PPE
Requirements
- Knowledge of Decon/Install/Deinstall on OEM equipment
- Junior Field Service Engineers: 1-4 years of experience in the semiconductor industry
- Senior Field Service Engineers: Minimum 5+ years of OEM direct experience
- Physical demands: Walk up to 5 miles per day, able to be on feet for 8-10 hours, able to bend, twist, push/pull, crouch, kneel in confined spaces, work at heights, on a ladder, and lift up to 50-75 pounds
