Field Service Engineer - Materials Testing -Georgia

Key Responsibilities

• Perform installation, preventative maintenance, calibration, and repair of testing equipment
• Troubleshoot electromechanical, electronic, and hydraulic systems
• Interpret schematics and technical drawings to diagnose issues
• Train end users on equipment operation, software, and testing methods
• Prepare detailed service and calibration reports aligned with quality standards
• Serve ongoing customer relationships through responsive service and communication

Qualifications

• Strong troubleshooting experience across mechanical, electrical, and electronic systems
• Ability to read schematics and use diagnostic tools such as multimeters and oscilloscopes
• Experience working with or exposure to 3-phase power systems
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related technical field, or equivalent hands-on experience
• Background in materials testing, calibration, automation, or precision equipment is preferred
• Comfortable with extensive travel (up to ~80%), including overnight trips
