Field Service Engineer-LINUX

As a Field Service Engineer, you will provide technical support and assistance to clients in the field, troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Linux system administration, server hardware, networking, database administration, and ensure compliance with security standards.
Responsibilities
- Provide field service engineering support for Linux systems
- Perform database administration tasks
- Maintain DoD 8570 IAT LVL I certification requirements
- Aid with supporting accreditation and ATO processes
- Resolve technical issues as needed
Requirements
- 5 years of experience supporting federal client’s Linux environment
- CompTIA Security+ CE certification
- 2 years of experience with Red Hat Enterprise Linux (7/8/9) administration
- One Linux Certification: Red Hat Certified System Administrator, CompTIA Linux+, Linux Foundation Certified System Administrator (LFCS), or Linux Professional Institute LPIC-1
- Bonus if you have: Red Hat Certified Engineer (RHCE), LPIC-2/3, PostgreSQLv14+

The base pay range for this position in the specified locations is $134,300—$174,900 USD.

The pay range for the states of California, Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, Minnesota, New Jersey, New York, Vermont, Virginia, Washington, and the District of Columbia, and the city of Cleveland is: $134,300—$174,900 USD.
