Responsibilities

• Lives by our safety program and drives engagement at all levels.
• Conducts/performs semi-complex site surveys to develop base or installation design plans.
• Provides on-site process start-up and operations leadership and support.
• Sizes pipelines, pumps, blowers, and other equipment based on site hydraulics.
• Identifies, coordinates, and engages with other functional teams to complete assignments.
• Creates equipment, instrumentation, and valve lists to be purchased.
• Conducts in-person shop or jobsite reviews throughout the project.
• May develop the planning and estimating of labor categories, rates, material dollar costs, transportation expenses, and per diem rates to complete complex proposals.
• Guides and performs the review of complex-task plans, drawings, and installation schematics and provides continual guidance throughout task duration.
• Preempts potential problems and provides effective solutions in applying engineering concepts, techniques, knowledge, or processes.
• Writes and modifies PLC and HMI programs for water treatment systems.
• Configures automation networks, including Ethernet/IP, ControlNet, Profibus, Profinet, and Modbus.
• Supports the construction/project manager with the technical oversight of contractors.
• Trains customers and other engineers to maintain and adjust complex tools, test equipment, and calibration items.
• Writes and submits reports covering all job activity.

Requirements

• 5-8 years of experience in a relevant field.
• Preferred BS/BA degree in Engineering.
• Preferred experience with water solutions.
• Demonstrated history of excellent communication skills.
• Strong knowledge of operational processes as defined in work area.
• Ability to research a variety of parts needed for repairs and alterations of water systems.
• Advanced mechanical and electrical aptitude.
• Experience with AutoCAD and AutoCAD Electrical (plus).
• Advanced computer skills (MS Office Suite, CRM, other applications).

Travel

40-50% travel required.
