About the Role
Provides technical support to clients and potential clients on a global basis. Travels to clients’ sites to install equipment, diagnose equipment problems, and repair equipment. Involves travel up to 50% of the time.
Responsibilities
- Installs new evaporation systems, including training and on-site acceptance testing.
- Installs new component packages.
- Provides technical phone and email support (factory and field).
- Performs field warranty repair work, both systems and components.
- Sells and performs billable (non-warranty) field service work, including equipment audits, upgrades, training, and repair.
- Troubleshoots and assists factory repair services.
- Contributes toward maintaining a healthy and safe work environment.
- Aids in final test of systems as required.
- Aids in process lab as required.
- Performs other duties as assigned or as necessary to meet the needs of internal and external customers.
- Enables and drives change in the organization.
Requirements
- AA degree or equivalent in engineering or physical science with 2 years’ experience in electronics diagnostics and repair.
Preferred Skills
- Experience and/or education in vacuum technology, thin film, or any semiconductor process manufacturing equipment.

Pay
Due to the remote work status of this role, the starting salary range included in this job posting is a national average. Salary offers will depend on your experience, knowledge, skills, education, and location.
