Field Service Engineer - Hematology

About the Role

Responsible for servicing Beckman Coulter laboratory equipment, including troubleshooting, installation, preventative maintenance, and repair, to ensure optimal performance. This remote position involves working independently, engaging with internal and external stakeholders, and providing technical training to team members.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair mechanical, electronic, and electromechanical systems on clinical diagnostic platforms.
• Maintain accurate service records, manage repair parts, and utilize business systems like Salesforce, SharePoint, and OBI.
• Support customer satisfaction by building positive relationships and delivering efficient service.
• Travel within designated territory, primarily in Tri-Cities, WA, and Hermiston, OR, with occasional overnight travel.

Requirements

• Associate’s degree, military experience, or high school diploma with relevant experience.
• At least 1 year of experience in diagnosing and repairing complex equipment.
• Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to work autonomously.
• Physical capability to lift equipment up to 50 lb.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.

Preferred Qualifications

• 2+ years of advanced troubleshooting and technical training background.
• Technical proficiency with biomedical, engineering, or related fields.
