Field Service Engineer Germany
Responsibilities
- Frequent travel 75-90% to perform onsite equipment installs, maintenance, and upgrades.
- Familiarizing customer of product usage and care
- Develop processes and documentation for standard service actions
- Recognize trends and patterns in field failures and feedback to the development team to drive future designs
- Work with engineering and manufacturing teams to ensure new issues are fully investigated and those countermeasures are in place
- Provide support to engineering and manufacturing teams as needed
- Availability for occasional off-hours calls and work
- Ability to travel Internationally
Requirements
- 5+ years of relevant experience
- BS in engineering field preferred but not required
- Must have hands-on approach
- Ability to read electrical schematic and mechanical drawings
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both German and English
- Strong troubleshooting skills with mechanical/electrical systems
- Strong customer service experience required
- Personal car required
- Passport required
Qualifications
Proximity to southern Germany—particularly around Nuremberg, Regensburg, or Ansbach, including areas closer to the eastern border—is preferred but not required.

Must have hands-on approach, ability to read electrical schematic and mechanical drawings, excellent verbal and written communication skills in both German and English, strong troubleshooting skills with mechanical/electrical systems, strong customer service experience, and personal car required.
