Field Service Engineer - Entry level

Responsibilities

• Perform system checkouts, assist with system startups, and verify proper equipment operation.
• Troubleshoot and repair electrical, mechanical, and programming issues.
• Train customers on system operation, maintenance, and performance adjustments.
• Conduct water analyses, interpret results, conduct field testing to verify system performance and water quality.
• Complete detailed service reports and documentation accurately and on time.
• Maintain and calibrate test instruments and equipment.
• Support the sales and engineering teams with site assessments and technical insights.
• Respond to emergency service calls, including occasional after-hours or weekend work.
• Comply with company and customer site safety requirements.
• Perform other duties or special projects as assigned.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical field (Engineering preferred); equivalent experience considered.
• Strong mechanical aptitude required able to learn electrical systems and programming PLC/VFD/HMI devices.
• Will consider all experience levels, including new graduates; willing to train the right candidate.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, electrical schematics, and P&IDs.
• Capable of lifting up to 75 lbs unassisted.
• Comfortable working in varying environmental and site conditions.
• Willingness to travel up to 50% or more, including internationally.

Pay

Target Salary Range: $60,000 – $90,000 salary a year with the opportunity for eligible employees to earn additional compensation pursuant to the Company’s bonus plan. Exact pay will be based on factors including, but not limited to relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, level, geographic location, and business and organizational needs.
