Field Service Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in resolving machine issues for Wirtgen products
• Maintain effective communication with customers and dealers using digital ticketing solutions
• Keep detailed records of machine complaints and resolutions

Education/Experience & Skills

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Minimum 2 years of experience in a field service or technical support role
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation

Physical Demands

• Frequent sitting, standing, walking
• Use gross hand and finger dexterity
• Reach outward with hands and arms
• Climb or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl
• Frequent lifting and/or moving up to 50 pounds
• Close vision, color vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus
• Travel 75% of time for extended periods

Work Environment

• Frequent exposure to moving mechanical parts
• Frequent exposure to high, precarious places
• Frequent exposure to outside weather conditions
• Noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to loud
