About the role

This full-time position involves utilizing electromechanical skills to provide excellent service to customers, including on-site service, installation, and repair of semiconductor processing equipment. You will troubleshoot equipment problems, participate in site safety programs, and adhere to all site fab protocol requirements. The role requires 60%-80% domestic or occasional international travel, with travel expenses paid.

Responsibilities

  • Performs on-site service, installation, and repair of semiconductor processing equipment.
  • Troubleshoots equipment problems.
  • Participates in site safety programs to create a zero-hazard environment.
  • Demonstrates ability to understand detailed electrical schematics and mechanical drawings.
  • Understands and adheres to all site fab protocol requirements.
  • Comprehends test equipment including various test meters, hand, and power tools.
  • Able to read engineering drawings and electrical diagrams.

Requirements

  • Electronic and mechanical troubleshooting skills.
  • Maintenance Technician skills with solid experience in resolving tool-related challenges.
  • A.S./B.S. degree or equivalent military experience.
  • Proficiency in basic computer skills (MS Office Suite).
  • Strong English communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • 60%-80% domestic or occasional international travel and/or overnight travel to customer locations, factories, or training facilities.

Preferences

  • Previous semiconductor experience is preferred.

Physical Effort/Activities

  • May be required to walk up to 5+ miles per day.
  • Able to be on feet for 8-10 hours at a time.
  • Able to bend, twist, push/pull, crouch, kneel in confined spaces.
  • Work at heights, on a ladder, and lift up to 50-75 pounds.

Pay

$28 - $32/hr + DOE

Schedule

Monday - Friday, 7:00 AM - 4:00 PM

This position is not eligible for visa sponsorship. All applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for current or future sponsorship.
