Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot and resolve operational and maintenance issues on mechanical systems
- Perform repairs and preventive maintenance on building and facility equipment, fixtures, and systems
- Install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain facility plumbing, mechanical, heating, and cooling systems
- Apply sound judgment to resolve non-standard maintenance and operational problems
- Follow general work instructions and job plans while ensuring quality and safety standards are met
- Review and complete assigned work orders, maintenance tasks, and repair projects efficiently
- Read electrical schematics, troubleshoot electrical systems, and work with sensors, PLCs, motors, and control systems
- Work within a highly regulated environmental compliance culture and follow strict safety procedures
- Work in cleanroom environments
Requirements
- Strong electro-mechanical knowledge
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Effective organization, prioritization, and time management abilities
- Willingness to work a compressed work-week schedule
Preferred Qualifications
- 1–2 years of experience in facilities maintenance, including preventive and corrective maintenance activities
- Experience supporting facility operations and maintaining mechanical building systems
Physical Demands
- Walk up to 5+ miles per day
- Stand on feet for 8–10 hours at a time
- Bend, twist, push/pull, crouch, kneel in confined spaces
- Work at heights and on ladders
- Lift up to 50–75 pounds
