Field Service Engineer

About the role

To support our growing business across the breadth of our portfolio, we are looking for a self-motivated hands-on Field Service Engineer with proven Electro/Mechanical troubleshooting abilities, ideally to be based in or around Phoenix, Arizona covering the Southwest area.

Key Responsibilities

• Scheduling and performing territory service work such as on-site installation and preventative maintenance
• Performing emergency service (territory) repair visits
• Providing remote telephone assistance
• Being available to travel at short notice in order to support other Field Service Engineers when needed
• Timely completion of all required documentation
• Communicating any product quality issues to the appropriate persons
• Working closely with Territory Sales personnel and Field Applications Specialists
• Responsible for account management, ensuring a high degree of customer satisfaction
• Obtaining and communicating leads, identifying post-instrument sales, upgrades, and consumables

Beneficial Skills/Experience

• Previous Experience with electro-mechanical and automated systems, ideally within the pharmaceutical/healthcare sectors
• Previous experience of working with Liquid Handling products would be advantageous
• Strong customer focus
• Excellent communication skills and a proactive approach to workload
• Educational background equivalent of at least an associate's degree or previous experience in an engineering discipline
• Highly organized with excellent follow-up skills
• Self-motivated, team player
• Ability to travel on short notice
• Valid Passport
