Responsibilities
- Perform pre-scheduled monthly onsite network maintenance and reviews for clients.
- Manage network administration tasks, including health checks, backups, restores, antivirus updates, OS patches, and event log reviews to ensure network stability and efficiency.
- Act as an internal Network Administrator, resolving network issues as needed.
- Complete small network projects and provide onsite emergency support for business continuity.
- Innovate and improve service delivery processes and procedures.
- Deliver exceptional customer service, fostering positive client relationships.
- Work independently in client-facing environments and adapt quickly to new technologies.
- Develop solutions creatively and resourcefully, maintaining composure under stress.
Requirements
- At least a two-year college degree or equivalent field experience.
- Proven experience as a Field Service Engineer or similar role.
- Strong knowledge of networking protocols, hardware, and desktop software.
- Excellent troubleshooting, organizational, and communication skills.
- Hands-on technical experience with a valid driver’s license and willingness to travel.
Skills
- Operating Systems: Windows 10 & 11, desktop hardware build experience.
- Networking: LAN/WAN/Wireless hardware and software.
- Preferred Skills: Server OS (Windows 2012-2022), Hyper-v, VMware vSphere, Veeam Backup, firewalls, and network switching.
