Job Summary
The Field Service Engineer reports to the Operations Manager and must be familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected to help develop and create new services/products.
Essential Job Functions
- Performs responsibilities in accordance with established company policies to achieve the overall objectives.
- Participates in daily, weekly, monthly, and annual planning process, as needed.
- Fosters a cooperative and harmonious working environment conducive to maximizing employee morale and productivity.
- Oversees maintenance for parts and repairs for equipment.
- Researches new opportunities for the advancement of RCS.
- Tests and certifies new and existing products and services.
- Makes suggestions for improvement to current equipment.
- Manages research projects in a timely, efficient manner.
- Works on special projects.
- Works in the daily operations to gain knowledge.
- Performs administrative and office support activities.
Skills And Educational Requirements
- Must type 30+ words per minute.
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint).
- Must have good verbal, communication, and writing skills.
- Demonstrated people and leadership skills including conflict resolution, team building, and excellent communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize accordingly.
- Detail-oriented to maintain the Policies and other controlled documents.
- Work well in teams to coordinate various special projects.
- Demonstrated professional maturity and ability to act as a change leader.
- Professional appearance and demeanor.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or related field is preferred.
- Must have at least three years of work experience in related field.
