Field Service Engineer

Our client, a global leader in precision CMM equipment, is seeking a Field Service Engineer to support customer sites within the Texas area. This is a contract position with strong potential for permanent placement.

About the role

This is a 100% travel role Mondays through Fridays every week, focused on the installation, maintenance, and calibration of high-precision equipment at customer facilities. Candidates should be based in DFW, Houston, or San Antonio, TX.

Responsibilities

• Equipment assembly, disassembly, leveling, diagnostics, and repair
• Performing certifications and re-calibrations
• Delivering exceptional service and maintaining a professional presence on-site

Requirements

• Previous experience in field support with heavy travel
• Full availability to travel Monday through Friday every week
• Reliable vehicle (until company van available) and clean driving record
• Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics
• U.S. Citizenship (due to ITAR regulations for federal site access)
• Capable of lifting up to 75 lbs

Pay

$32–$33 per hour + overtime + per diem. Weekly pay.
