The role
The role of a Field Service Technician is to troubleshoot a variety of our machine tools. This position is great for someone that is self-motivated and wants to travel. This job keeps everyday exciting due to the wide variety of tasks that it involves.
Responsibilities
- Spindle rebuilds
- Troubleshooting hydraulic, pneumatic systems
- CNCs
- Build and addition of new equipment for upgrades to existing systems
- Accurate alignment practices on high precision equipment
Requirements
- Two year certificate from college or technical school
- Three to five years of related experience
- Ability to troubleshoot mechanical assemblies, understand tolerances, and be able to read drawings (detail and assembly)
- After Training, have a thorough knowledge of all Hydromat machines
- Additional experience: Run machines such as a bandsaw, drill press, mill & lathe machines. Familiarity with Fanuc robotics and/or CNC

- Accrued each pay period, you can receive 80 hours of vacation and 40 hours of sick time your first year. That increases to 120 hours of vacation after three years.

Pay
Salary: $33 - $40 per hour
Schedule
This position requires a first shift work schedule, ability to travel as business needs dictate, up to 50%.
