Field Service Diesel Technician
Job Summary
Technical specialist and primary customer support contact to diagnose and execute complex repairs to engine products at the customer's site. We are looking for a talented Field Service Diesel Technician/Mechanic to join our Distribution business in Tucson, AZ.
Complete Repairs
- Completes complex internal engine repairs
- Performs complex unassisted engine overhauls
Maintain Detailed Records
- Maintain detailed records of serviced vehicles
Diagnose and Troubleshoot
- Adheres to Cummins Health, Safety & Environmental policies
- Ongoing development/certifications on new and existing Cummins products
- Maintain own tools
- Trains junior technicians including technical support and documentation
Qualifications
- Completes complex internal engine repairs
- Performs engine overhauls unassisted (Preferred)
- Detailed understanding of the aftertreatment system and components
- Proficient experience with engine diagnostic software
- Experience with Chassis work (Brakes, suspension, steering, etc.)

Education, Licenses, Certifications
- Apprentice Trained Engine Technician (Preferred)
- Vocational diploma from relevant technical institution
- Locally valid driving permit

- Min Salary: $65,600
- Max Salary: $98,400
