Field Service Consultant

About the role

MSXi is expanding one of its client's programs and is seeking automotive repair experts to assist dealerships with solving complex vehicle issues. This role involves local travel to dealerships, troubleshooting technical escalations, and providing technical assistance.

Responsibilities

• Assess and solve technical escalations
• Provide online and in-dealership technical assistance
• Lead discussions and act as a subject matter expert
• Manage recall requirements and ensure Required Service Updates (RSU) are completed
• Interact with the team as the quality feedback liaison
• Conduct dealership consultations on repair order documentation, service agreements, and facility inspections
• Ensure the improvement of the customer experience and increase 'fixed first visit' cases
• Analyze and suggest process improvements for repair shops, focusing on the customer experience

Qualifications

• ASE certified technician
• Experience solving complex vehicle issues
• Proven ability to provide knowledge and support
• Proficient in documenting technical issues and conducting research
• Ability to follow up to resolve challenging cases

Pay

A reasonable estimate of the current annual range is $80k to $103k based on current experience.
