Field Service and Inventory Technician
Job Summary

We are seeking a Field Service and Inventory Technician to join our team in Fort Lauderdale, FL. This role is approximately 50% field-based and 50% warehouse/inventory-focused, supporting our water treatment equipment and service teams across the surrounding area.
What Your Day Will Look Like
The Field Service and Inventory Technician is responsible for the installation, service, and maintenance of water purification equipment at customer sites, utilizing a company service vehicle. Additionally, this role plays a key part in warehouse operations, inventory management, and material readiness to ensure efficient field service execution.
Field Service Responsibilities
- Install, service, troubleshoot, and maintain water treatment and purification equipment at customer sites
- Perform routine maintenance, inspections, and basic repairs
- Identify and resolve potential safety concerns at customer locations
- Maintain a high level of professionalism in a customer-facing role
- Accurately document service activities using Microsoft Office tools and smart devices
- Participate in a compensated on-call rotation with occasional afternoons/weekends
Inventory & Warehouse Responsibilities
- Receive, inspect, stock, and organize parts, tools, and water treatment equipment in the warehouse
- Maintain accurate inventory levels through tracking, cycle counts, and system updates
- Pick, stage, and prepare materials and equipment for scheduled field service jobs
- Cook up inventory replenishment and communicate material needs with service and operations teams
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized warehouse environment
- Load and unload service vehicles as needed to support daily operations
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- One year of work experience preferred
- One to two years of technical experience preferred; industrial or commercial process water experience a plus
- Warehouse, inventory control, or logistics experience preferred
- Experience with Microsoft Office and the ability to utilize smart devices
- Ability to work in a high customer-facing role
- Ability to identify and remedy potential safety concerns
- Ability to lift, move, and handle equipment and materials in a warehouse environment
- Ability to pass a background check, drug screen, MVR, and DOT physical
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
