Field Security Advisor

About the role

For our client, we are seeking a Field Security Advisor to join the team of a leader in the Enterprise Technology space. This role will partner closely with enterprise customers to strengthen their security preparedness and guide them through complex cyber risk scenarios. The position combines advisory work, executive-facing communication, and hands-on facilitation to help clients improve incident readiness and response planning. You will also support the creation of customer-facing enablement materials and contribute research and analysis that inform practical security guidance. Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available

Responsibilities

• Deliver cyber extortion readiness engagements, including executive briefings and technical workshops
• Design and facilitate realistic tabletop exercises for clients
• Curate and enhance customer-facing materials based on current cyber extortion trends
• Conduct research and forensic analysis to support client advisory needs
• Assist in customer lifecycle queries, including due diligence and contract review

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in information security/cybersecurity, emphasizing incident response, security operations, or risk consulting
• 3+ years of direct customer-facing experience with B2B enterprise clients in advisory services
• Foundational knowledge of application, identity, cloud, and network security principles
• Demonstrated experience with enterprise presentations and facilitating educational workshops
• Strong communication skills, both orally and in writing, capable of conveying complex topics clearly and effectively

Pay

Compensation: $121,400 – $225,300 annually
