Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Provide sample collection services to various clients which includes but not limited to FDA Detention, Well-Water, legionella, and environmental chemistry
• Complete all assigned routes
• Furnish sample containers to various clients
• Perform miscellaneous on-site testing when required and record all data
• Adhere to the company handbook and health and safety policies
• Maintain a written log of daily activity
• Drive in a safe manor and observe all traffic laws
• Monitor and maintain proper vehicle maintenance and cleanliness
• Work during the hours assigned and work weekends and/or holidays when requested
• Observe all OSHA and client site-specific safety requirements
• Perform other duties and tasks as assigned by company including reassignment to another task or department
• Fill out and submit all required sample chain of custody and sample collection reports required in each discipline
• Must be able to lift equipment in and out of vehicle that could weigh 50 pounds or more
• Additional movement of sample between our Northern and Southern laboratories as needed

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Prior knowledge of field sampling and/or laboratory experience is preferred
• Willing and able to travel via company vehicle to various client sites throughout the Tri-State Area
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
• Ability to use GPS and good with directions
• Organized and able to prioritize tasks/deliveries
• Excellent communication skills and good attitude; candidate will have daily interaction with the company’s clients
• Able to work well under pressure and meet deadlines
• A good understanding of client confidentiality

It is expected that you will exercise care and good judgment while driving, and that you will comply with all state and local regulations for drivers of motor vehicles. These regulations include but are not limited to speed limits, cell phone and texting laws, traffic signs and traffic lights, maintaining a current, valid driver’s license, and other rules of the road.

Shift Information

Available Shift Position is full time, Monday to Friday 9:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
