Field Sales Representative - Water Restoration

Roto-Rooter is seeking Field Sales Representatives for our Water Restoration department. Ideal candidates will actively pursue sales opportunities and qualified leads provided by field service technicians and call centers.

About the role

This position offers unlimited earnings with an average of $55,000-$75,000 per year plus mileage reimbursement. The role includes a weekly base pay plus commission, with all leads provided—no cold calls. Flexible work schedules and top industry benefits are available.

Responsibilities

• Identify and sell opportunities to mitigate property damage caused by water to residential and commercial markets.
• Perform assessments of property to determine moisture levels and the need for demolition and drying to acceptable levels.
• Engage in proactive follow-up communication with existing customers to deliver effective solutions for plumbing or water-related issues.
• Leverage established pricing matrix and/or insurance guidelines to provide competitive quotes and close sales.
• Serve as a trusted information resource for Roto-Rooter customers.

Requirements

• Valid driver’s license and acceptable background check per company standards.
• Demonstrated focus on delivering outstanding customer service.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced work environment and work days, nights, weekends, and holidays as scheduled.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills in English.
• Knowledge of Water Restoration practices; plumbing experience is not required.
• Organized self-starter with an outgoing personality.
• Working knowledge of common software programs such as Word and Excel, as well as Roto-Rooter-specific computer programs.
• Previous experience with outside sales of in-home services is strongly desired, but all outside sales experience will be considered.
• Maintains IICRC Water Damage Restoration Technician (WRT) and Applied Structural Drying Technician (ASD) certification in Water Damage Restoration.
• Must be medically cleared to wear a respirator and complete a respirator fit test.
