Responsibilities

  • Visit prospective businesses within designated territories and introduce program opportunities.
  • Conduct door-to-door outreach to generate interest and build a pipeline of qualified prospects.
  • Present program benefits and answer questions from prospective business owners.
  • Qualify leads and guide businesses through the application and onboarding process.
  • Maintain and manage opportunities within Salesforce CRM.
  • Support recruitment and engagement events, including lunch-and-learns, information sessions, and community meetings.
  • Develop relationships with local business organizations, chambers of commerce, and community partners.
  • Import and manage prospect data in Salesforce.
  • Collaborate with leadership to execute territory growth strategies and achieve partnership goals.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of sales, business development, account management, or customer service experience.
  • Experience with outside sales, prospecting, or community-based business development.
  • CRM experience required; Salesforce preferred.
  • Strong relationship-building and communication skills.
  • Comfortable conducting outbound outreach and engaging new prospects.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently in the field.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bilingual abilities are a plus.
  • Prior experience in transportation, logistics, delivery services, or business consulting environments is beneficial.
  • Experience negotiating, influencing, and presenting solutions to business owners.
  • Strong technical aptitude and comfort learning new systems and platforms.
  • Ability to adapt in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment.

Work Environment

This role operates primarily in the field, with approximately 80% of your time spent meeting businesses and fostering community relationships, and 20% focused on follow-up activities, administrative work, and pipeline management from home. Travel within a two-hour driving radius is required, and successful candidates should be comfortable driving throughout their territory regularly. This is an ideal opportunity for someone who enjoys being out in the community, building connections, and creating opportunities through face-to-face engagement.

Pay And Benefits

  • The pay range for this position is $28.50 - $28.50/hr.
