Field Sales Representative Permian Basin

Primary Responsibilities

  • Responsible for revenue generation from assigned territory
  • Sell all WIS products and services, identify needs, educate customers, provide exceptional service from sale to delivery and collections
  • Maintain key relationships with other suppliers for market intelligence and sales opportunities
  • Conduct or assist with rig inventories, ensure accurate paperwork, collect and communicate contact information, capture competitive intelligence, identify cross-PL opportunities
  • Communicate regularly with supervisor, other Field Sales Representatives, Account Representatives, Operations Managers, Field Service Managers, and support staff
  • Provide product/service recommendations, demonstrations, troubleshoot performance issues, resolve complaints, respond to customer problems
  • Understand sales programs, new product introductions, manage expenses, comply with company and regulatory standards, handle special projects

Minimum Requirements

  • High School education or GED required
  • Bachelor’s degree, preferred
  • Minimum of 5 years of field sales experience, preferred
  • Proficiency in sales fundamentals, strong commercial, market, and customer understanding
  • Proactive and creative, strong communication, organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills
  • Basic computer skills, MS Word, Outlook, Excel & Power Point, ability to manage priorities and workflow
