Field Sales Representative (FSR)
About the role
This field-based role enables associates to primarily operate in the field, traveling to client sites or designated locations as their role requires, with occasional office attendance for meetings or training. This approach ensures flexibility, responsiveness to client needs, and direct, hands-on engagement.
Responsibilities
- Building and maintaining relationships with community leaders, organizations, and local businesses.
- Educating and enrolling eligible individuals into appropriate health plan options (within assigned guidelines).
- Managing a consistent activity pipeline: appointments, follow-ups, referrals, and event-based opportunities.
- Representing the Elevance brand with professionalism, compliance, and a service-first mindset.
- Tracking field activity and performance results and collaborating closely with your leader to hit growth goals.
Requirements
- Requires a high school diploma and a minimum of 2 years of direct sales or marketing experience; or any combination of education and experience which would provide an equivalent background.
- Requires Life & Health licensure if required by state law.
Preferred Skills, Capabilities and Experiences
- Based in/actively working Palm Beach County with the ability to be present in the community daily.
- Demonstrated success with community-based sales, outreach, or relationship development.
- Confidence speaking with diverse populations and explaining solutions in a clear, helpful way.
- Strong personal organization, follow-through, and a competitive-but-ethical drive to win.
