Field Sales Representative - Excavation

Roto-Rooter is seeking Field Sales Representatives for our Excavation department. We offer an opportunity for sales professionals to pursue pre-qualified leads from our field service technicians and call centers.

About the role

This position provides unlimited earnings with an average of $80,000–$120,000 per year plus mileage reimbursement. You’ll receive a weekly base pay plus commission, all leads provided (no cold calls), flexible work schedules, and top industry benefits.

Responsibilities

• Identify and sell sewer line repair and replacement solutions for residential and commercial properties.
• Conduct camera assessments of sewer lines to determine root interruption or breakage requiring repair or replacement.
• Engage in proactive follow-up communication with existing customers to deliver effective plumbing or water-related solutions.
• Leverage our established pricing matrix and/or insurance guidelines to provide competitive quotes and close sales.
• Serve as a trusted information resource for Roto-Rooter customers.

Requirements

• Valid driver’s license and acceptable background check per company standards.
• Demonstrated exceptional focus on delivering outstanding customer service.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and work days, nights, weekends, and holidays as scheduled.
• Proficiency with handheld telecommunication devices and commercial software packages such as Word and Excel; experience with Roto-Rooter computer systems.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills in English.
• Plumbing experience is not required.
• Organized self-starter with an outgoing personality.
• Strong preference for candidates with outside sales experience in in-home services, though all outside sales backgrounds will be evaluated.
