Field Sales Representative

Location: Allentown, PA

About the role

As a Field Sales Representative, you will be the face of innovative retail technology, directly engaging grocery store customers to demonstrate and promote the Caper smart cart. Your role is vital in driving customer adoption of this cutting‑edge, cashierless shopping solution, helping redefine the retail experience through live demonstrations and strategic engagement.

Responsibilities

• Conduct in‑store live demonstrations of the Caper smart cart, highlighting its features and benefits to customers.
• Develop and implement tailored sales strategies within each store environment, adapting based on customer feedback.
• Build strong relationships with store staff to ensure smooth operations and elevate brand presence.
• Provide regular reports on customer interactions, sharing insights to improve engagement and sales effectiveness.
• Consistently meet or exceed daily and weekly user acquisition targets, contributing to product adoption and business growth.

Requirements

• Proven experience in direct sales, ideally within a retail environment.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Self‑motivated with a proactive approach to achieving goals.
• Comfortable explaining new and innovative technology to customers.
• Availability to work a Thursday‑to‑Monday schedule, including weekends and evenings.
• Willingness and ability to travel to various store locations within the market area.

Skills

• Strong critical thinking skills to recognize and capitalize on sales opportunities.
• Knowledge of grocery retail operations and customer behavior patterns.
• Experience promoting technological products or innovations in retail settings.
• Ability to quickly adapt to new environments and work independently.
• Candidates residing within driving distance of Allentown, PA will have an added advantage.

Pay

$22 - $32 per hour

Schedule

Thursday to Monday, including weekends and potential evening shifts
