Field Sales Representative

About the role

Hawaiian Telcom is looking for driven, outgoing individuals to join our Field Sales team as Field Sales Representatives. This commission-based role involves meeting potential customers in their neighborhoods, educating them on our fiber internet services, and helping them switch to faster internet. Ideal for self-starters who enjoy outdoor work, talking with people, and earning uncapped commissions.

Base salary of $40,000 plus uncapped commission potential, with the ability to earn over $90,000 a year. Additionally, there is a potential $2,500 training bonus upon completion of the 30-day training program.

Responsibilities

• Assess customer needs and provide optimal communication solutions from our product and service line.
• Thoroughly understand the features and benefits of all services and products, including bundles and new offerings.
• Understand promotional offers and the geography of assigned areas.
• Learn and utilize systems that support and qualify customers for products and services.
• Attain sales, service, and productivity metrics.
• Provide consistent, documented customer sales and follow-up.
• Demonstrate a superior application of all provided training.
• Conduct door-to-door sales within assigned neighborhoods or territories.
• Present and promote fiber internet, TV, and voice products to residential customers.

Requirements

• Four years of high school or equivalent education.
• 1 to 2 years in door-to-door or outside field sales experience preferred.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Evening and weekend work required.

Pay

Base salary range: $40,000–$42,000 (plus uncapped commissions).
