Field Sales Consultant, Dental - Seattle, WA
About the role
This position is responsible for managing all B2B sales activities within a specific territory. You will maintain regular consultative contact with every account in the territory to grow merchandise, equipment, and service sales with existing customers and acquire new customers while communicating the Henry Schein value proposition. The role focuses on building long-term business relationships that align Henry Schein’s offerings with customer needs in business practices, merchandise, equipment, and services.
Responsibilities
- Achieve quarterly and annual sales Gross Profit (GP) goals by executing key sales initiatives and programs.
- Coordinate team selling efforts to meet the complex needs of a rapidly changing industry and customer base.
- Develop, manage, and increase merchandise, equipment, and service sales through face-to-face consultative contact and regular customer business reviews.
- Actively seek new sales opportunities via cold calling, networking, and social media.
- Plan, organize, and implement effective strategies using company programs, tools, and initiatives to increase market share in merchandise, equipment, services, and Henry Schein Solutions (e.g., Henry Schein One, Henry Schein Practice Solutions).
- Utilize Content Management Systems (CMS), Customer Relationship Management (CRM), and predictive sales tools.
- Attend sales meetings, dental conventions, seminars, internal training, and industry events as directed to promote event selling and deepen customer relationships.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of prior sales experience preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree or global equivalent in a related discipline (preferred).
- Extensive travel within a specific geographic territory.

Pay
The posted range for this position is $50,000 as the expected starting base salary for an employee new to the role. Pay within this range varies based on factors such as education, prior experience, training, skills, certifications, location, labor market, and internal equity. The position is also eligible for commission based on achievement of the sales plan.
