About the role

As a Ramp Safety Supervisor, you'll ensure a safe, compliant, and efficient working environment. This role is responsible for driving employee safety initiatives, maintaining regulatory compliance, and reinforcing best practices across daily operations. This is a hands-on leadership position where you will work closely with frontline teams, monitor safety performance, and take immediate action to prevent incidents. You'll be a key leader, responsible for promoting a strong safety culture across our airport operations. Our priority is to ensure employees go home safe every day while maintaining the high standards our customers expect.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and promote a positive safety culture across ramp and operational teams
  • Spend time in the operation coaching employees on safe work practices and identifying opportunities for improvement
  • Conduct safety observations, inspections, and audits to help prevent injuries and equipment damage
  • Facilitate engaging safety meetings and training sessions that keep safety top of mind
  • Investigate workplace incidents, near misses, and operational events to identify root causes and develop solutions
  • Partner with local leaders to implement action plans that improve safety performance
  • Monitor safety trends and use data to recommend improvements
  • Help prepare teams for airline, OSHA, FAA, DOT, and internal audits
  • Build strong relationships with airline partners and regulatory agencies to ensure compliance and operational excellence
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation to support audit readiness

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Safety Engineering or in related field preferred
  • 1–3 years of experience in safety, operations, aviation, logistics, transportation, manufacturing, warehousing, or a related environment
  • Ability to lead by example and influence others through coaching and collaboration
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills
  • Excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Commitment to promoting a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement

Pay

$56,949.36 - 71,186.70
