ESS-330 Job Title: Construction Safety Associate
Location: Darlington County, SC
Start Date: Immediate.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary EHS representative for the project, ensuring compliance with all safety regulations and contract requirements.
- Support the project management team with on-site safety inspections, reporting, and training coordination.
- Conduct and document daily safety inspections of the job site.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date safety logs, incident reports, and OSHA recordkeeping (including injury/illness logs).
- Interface with regulatory agencies such as OSHA as needed.
- Provide ongoing safety training and toolbox talks to on-site personnel.
- Participate in incident investigations and implement corrective actions.
- Collaborate closely with facility management and subcontractors to ensure alignment with EHS standards.
Requirements
- Civil & heavy machinery experience.
- Solar field experience.
- OSHA 510 or 500.
- Current First Aid/CPR certification.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and digital safety platforms.
- Must be able to work independently and manage site safety with minimal supervision.
- U.S. Citizenship required.
Qualifications
- Familiarity with incident investigation and root cause analysis methods.
- Prior experience coordinating with subcontractors and site leadership on large-scale builds.

- Self-directed and detail-oriented safety professional.
- Excellent communication and computer skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, compliance-driven construction environment.
