About the role
We are seeking a Road Mechanic to diagnose and repair construction equipment at customer sites. This position offers independence, hands-on experience, and strong career growth potential.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose equipment malfunctions (hydraulics, hydrostatic, and electrical systems)
- Perform welding and fabrication work as needed
- Recommend appropriate repairs and prepare cost estimates
- Maintain accurate repair records and documentation
- Stay up to date on industry and technical advancements
- Communicate with the factory for technical assistance
- Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements
- A High School Diploma or GED
- Hands-on experience with hydraulics, hydrostatics, and electrical troubleshooting
- Welding experience required
- Ability to travel within assigned territory for field service
- Strong customer service, communication, and organizational skills
- Positive attitude with the ability to multi-task and prioritize effectively
