About the role

The WTI Field Resource Foreman oversees and performs the safety, efficiency, and quality of the WTI field service business. Safety is our primary priority and will be embedded into every discussion, meeting, and project. As the clear and established leader of the WTI crew, the Foreman is focused on safety, crew management, and efficient execution of all WTI projects assigned within their respective region.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct the daily onsite safety brief before the start of the WTI project with the Sales Rep, customer, and the WTI crew.
  • Inspect and ensure all surroundings, equipment, and tools and identify and discuss any safety concerns.
  • Complete the Daily Hazard Analysis form and submit it to the Supervisors as applicable.
  • Ensure all project communication is completed before the start of any WTI project, including communication with the WTI Field Resources Supervisor, Sales Rep, and customer.
  • Efficiently manage projects, including managing the crew’s start and end times, daily productivity, and ensuring tools and materials are available to complete the assigned project safely and efficiently.
  • Complete the project per the approved scope of work or specification and after issuance by the Supervisor.
  • Complete an end-of-day and/or end-of-project walk-through to ensure the quality of workmanship and address any punch list items before leaving the job site.
  • Ensure all WTI Field Resources Reps have a professional appearance and customer interaction while completing services for a customer.
  • Order, track, and monitor inventory and ensure quarterly cycle counts are completed and submitted timely.
  • Provide pricing for self-performing projects over $12,500 and submit proposals over $20,000 to the Supervisor for review and approval.
  • Monitor and manage the Field Reps, and consult with the Supervisor to take appropriate steps or corrective measures to resolve employee work-related issues.
  • Coordinate with the Supervisor to create project schedules and review time reports daily.
  • Attend all appropriate calls, meetings, and trainings, and perform any other duties and/or projects as required or assigned by the Supervisor or Regional Business Manager.

Requirements

  • Ability to travel out of town, including overnight stays.
  • Must have reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license.
  • Ability to work weekends and/or holidays when needed.
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment drug test.
  • Ability to read, write, and speak English.

Qualifications

  • 30-hour OSHA certification.
  • Registered Roof Observer (RRO) preferred but not required.
  • Minimum of five years of experience in the roofing industry.
  • Must be thoroughly familiar with built-up, EPDM, PVC, and other forms of low-slope roofing systems, as well as metal and other steep-sloop roofing systems, and how to repair them properly.
