Field Representative Equine

About the role
The Field Representative Equine will engage in face-to-face interactions with new and existing customers, selling directly or indirectly through various sales channels. In this role, you will assess customer needs and suggest appropriate products, services, and solutions. This position covers the Maryland, New Jersey, and Eastern Pennsylvania territory.
Responsibilities
- Develop and deliver sales proposals and conduct detailed presentations for effective product demonstration.
- Plan daily activities, including customer visits, and establish quantitative and qualitative objectives to achieve.
- Monitor market and competition evolution, relaying information to senior staff.
- Independently solve moderately complex issues with minimal supervision, while escalating more complex issues to appropriate staff.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
- Minimum of two years of equine nutrition experience.
- Ability to travel up to 80% of the time within the territory.
Pay
The expected salary for this position is $70,000 to $90,000. Compensation varies depending on factors including location, certifications, education, and experience. This position is eligible for a discretionary incentive award based on company and personal performance.
